Yes, the majority of the lessons in this course are designed to teach you the basics of sewing on a machine. If you do not have a sewing machine yet, don't worry. We'll cover everything you need to know about choosing one, and you don't need anything fancy to get started. I'll make some recommendations for machines you can have shipped or pick up at your local craft store. 

This course covers a wide range of fundamental skills as well as intermediate-level skills and a few advanced. Even if you know the basics of sewing, many find that this course helps fill in gaps they didn't know they had! And as time goes on, more intermediate and advanced tutorials will be added to our database of tutorials and lessons, which you will have lifetime access to.

This course is completely self-paced, so you can take your time and watch the lessons as many times as you need to. Once you sign up, you get lifetime access to The Sewing School and all future tutorials and lessons.

You'll receive a complete supply list with my recommendations (including machine recs) after enrollment. Basic supplies include your sewing machine, fabric, thread, scissors, pins, and a few other notions.
